500 years ago in Valencia, Spain. The once-thriving Jewish community is now suffering the perils of the dreaded Inquisition. The Archbishop has forced all the Jews into a small ghetto, robbing them of their most basic needs. Determined to force them all to abandon their faith, he attempts to use a Jew who had been forcefully "converted" to betray his brother's secret.
